Privacy Policy

Effective June 28, 2026

Fogg Holdings LLC ("WeOtter," "we," "us") operates weotter.co. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We've tried to keep it plain.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you create an account we collect your email address, your name, and your chosen handle. When you create an ottergram, we store its content — the title, your note, an optional place, and the theme. If you attach files to a gram (for example, event tickets or documents), we store those files so we can deliver them to your recipient; they may contain personal information you choose to include. If you choose to send a gram to someone by email, we collect the recipient's email address (and any name you add for them) so we can deliver it.

Information we collect automatically. Like most websites, we record basic technical and usage data such as your IP address, browser and device type, and timestamps of requests, for security and to keep the service running. We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies (see Cookies below).

We do not ask for or store passwords — we sign you in with a one-time link sent to your email.

How we use information

We use your information to provide and operate WeOtter: to sign you in, to create and deliver ottergrams, to let you and a recipient propose a time and mark a plan complete, to send you service notifications related to your grams, and to secure, maintain, and improve the service. We do not use your information for third-party advertising.

Invitations you send to others

WeOtter lets you send a gram to a friend by entering their email address. When you do, we send that person a one-time invitation email on your behalf, identifying you as the sender. We use a recipient's email address only to deliver and manage that gram and its related notifications. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to send marketing. By entering someone's address, you confirm you know them personally and have a good-faith basis to contact them. If you receive an invitation you didn't want, you can ignore it — you won't be enrolled in anything — or contact us at privacy@weotter.co to be removed.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the service:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies only: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and, for operators, an admin cookie. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Data retention

We keep your account information and grams while your account is active. We retain limited technical logs for a short period for security and reliability. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information — including the grams you've sent and any files attached to them — except where we must keep something to comply with law or resolve disputes.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing privacy@weotter.co. You can also delete your account yourself at any time from your profile, which removes your information as described under Data retention. Because we sign in by email link, you control access through your email account.

California residents. Under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request access and deletion, to request correction, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To exercise any right, contact privacy@weotter.co; we will verify your request through the email address associated with your account.

Security

We protect information with measures appropriate to its sensitivity, including signing in by one-time email link rather than stored passwords, and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

WeOtter is not directed to children. You must be at least 13 years old to use it (or older if your jurisdiction requires). We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact privacy@weotter.co and we'll delete it.

Where we operate

We operate WeOtter from the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, you understand your information is processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the effective date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to let you know.
